What is the O-Shot®?
The O-Shot® is a non-surgical and comfortable injection that increases sexual arousal and improves vaginal health. O-Shot® recipients report having increased arousal, more lubrication, and intensified orgasms. Women who experience inability or difficulty orgasming or low sex drive may experience the benefits of the O-Shot®.
How does the O-Shot® work?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is concentrated with platelet rich growth factors that increase blood flow and stimulate local, pluripotent stem cells. The recruitment of stem cells to the area increases the growth of new tissue to regenerate the tissue. Using this technology, the O-Shot® procedure works by using PRP to stimulate stem cells to grow healthier vaginal and clitoral tissue.
What does the O-Shot® help with?
The O-Shot® may be the ideal treatment if you are experiencing any of the following:
Pain during intercourse and vaginal dryness
Complications from childbirth and laxity
Difficulty or inability to reach orgasm
What is involved in the O-Shot® appointment?
A full consultation with your O-Shot® practitioner will include a discussion of your medical history, current symptoms or concerns and the risks and benefits of the O-Shot® procedure. We will also answer any questions that you may have. Finally, your written consent will be required for the procedure.
Numbing cream will be applied to the clitoris and the vaginal opening. While the numbing cream is taking effect we will take a blood sample, like you are having a blood test, and spin this to separate the PRP – the liquid gold! Some local anaesthetic (pain reliever) is injected - this is the bit that can sting for a few seconds, and then the PRP is injected into the clitoral and vaginal regions. You then rest on one of our lounges for 10 minutes with a drink – enjoy a few minutes of 'me time'.
Please avoid intercourse for 48 hours after the procedure
Improvement in sexual function takes between 1 and 3 weeks
Coastal Goddess will telephone you 5 to 7 days after the procedure to ensure that spotting has settled and discuss any other questions
